The SurfaShield™C it penetrates and binds to the pores of porous surfaces. It then absorbs ambient light, converting light energy into chemical energy: acting as a photocatalytic semiconductor, the light generates short-lived oxidative radicals through reactions with oxygen and water in the atmosphere. Microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, mold, organic stains, environmental pollutants, inks, and odors are gradually eliminated through the action of SurfaShield™.C in the presence of light.
