These rods offer high strength, good ductility, adequate conductivity, and rapid cooling. The presence of tin forms a protective oxide layer on the rod surface, acting as a barrier against corrosion. Suitable for joining copper and copper alloys (e.g., tin-bronze) and ideal for joining copper-zinc alloys and steel. Particularly recommended for copper repair work. For large workpieces, preheating is advised. For welding layers on ferrous metals, pulse arc welding is recommended. Also suitable for furnace brazing, oxy-fuel welding, and TIG welding.
