Silicon Bronze rods are copper-based and contain 3% silicon with traces of manganese, tin, and zinc. Ideal for welding dissimilar steels, copper and its alloys, and soft or galvanized steel. They are also used for overlaying areas exposed to corrosion. Where increased flow is required, use a welding flux paste. Suitable for oxy-fuel welding.
