Description
Thick-coated electrode for high-hardness build-up applications, highly resistant to wear, with medium to low impact strength. Not suitable for conditions with medium to heavy impact. Produces a clean, smooth weld appearance with minimal undercuts. Very easy to weld in flat position; vertical-up welding is possible only on thick plates. Particularly suitable for edge surfaces. Machining should be done by grinding only. When repairing very sensitive base materials, a backing layer should be used. Hold the electrode at a steep angle with a short arc.
