Description
Basic-type stainless steel electrode suitable for difficult-to-weld steels, as well as for joining dissimilar steels and manganese-hardened steels. It is used for welding 18/8 stainless steels and steels containing 14% Mn. Also suitable as a substrate for build-up and overlay applications. The deposited weld metal is highly crack-resistant and does not spall up to +850 °C. The hardness of the fully welded metal is 180 HB, which can increase to 450 HB under impact loading.
