Description
The E214 electrode is our standard tin-bronze electrode suitable for welding bronze, copper, brass, galvanized iron, cast iron, and other metals in all positions. To achieve porosity-free welds, the base metal must be completely clean from rust, paint, oil, grease, and moisture. Due to the high thermal conductivity of copper alloys, preheating is generally necessary, especially for thick components. Preheating should reach approximately 260–370 °C and be maintained during welding. For plates thinner than 5 mm or when welding iron, preheating is not required.
