Description

The Hempafire Extreme 550 is a epoxy intumescent fire protection coating two-component, solvent-free, chemically curing, designed for passive fire protection of structural steel against cellulosic fires.

It has been optimised for fire resistance requirements from R30 to R120 and for applications in in-shop applications. Fire protection for fire resistance R180 και R240 may be possible, depending on the project requirements and specifications.

Applications on-site applications may also be possible, depending on the available equipment and application conditions.

Recommended use

The Hempafire Extreme 550 is used as intumescent fire protection coating for structural steel in interior and exterior exposure conditions, up to Type X (EAD350402-00-1106 / EN 16623) and environmental category C5 (ISO 12944-2).

Suitable for application on:

• I-section beams
• H columns
• Hollow sections
• Cellular beams

It can also be used as repair and touch-up coating for the repair of damaged areas of the coating Hempafire Extreme 550.
