Description
Oerlikon (Erlikon) Inox 29/9 Electrode for difficult-to-weld steels and dissimilar materials. Suitable for welding low-alloy steels with high-strength steels, carbon steels, high-alloy steels, tool steels, spring steels, heat-treated steels, rail steels, and hardenable manganese steels. Low-alloy steels with C > 0.25% must be preheated to 150–300 °C depending on carbon content and plate thickness. Also suitable as a substrate for stress compensation on base metals prone to cracking.
